Job Description
Cluey Learning is seeking passionate and experienced Online Tutors for Maths and English to join our growing team. This is a remote, part-time opportunity designed for individuals who thrive on helping students succeed and are available to work after school hours. As an Online Tutor, you will deliver engaging and personalised one-on-one and small group sessions, adapting your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. Our innovative online platform provides all the tools you need to create an effective and interactive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective online tutoring sessions in Maths and English.
- Tailor teaching methods and materials to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress regularly.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents (where applicable), and the Cluey Learning team.
- Utilise Cluey Learning's online platform and resources efficiently.
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Maths and/or English up to Year 12 curriculum (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for education.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in online tutoring or teaching (1+ year).
- A degree or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Mathematics, English Literature).
- Familiarity with the Australian curriculum.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
