Job Description

Join Shopify’s dynamic team as an Online Order Support specialist. This unique role focuses entirely on digital communication, handling inquiries and resolving issues related to online orders without any phone interactions. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our merchants and their customers by providing timely and accurate support through chat and email. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer and merchant inquiries via email and chat regarding order status, modifications, and general support.
  • Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, and payment problems.
  • Process cancellations, returns, and refunds according to company policies.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support or relevant departments when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and resolutions in our support system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
