Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Online Data Specialist to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our vast datasets, supporting various projects across our client portfolio. As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from your home office, collaborating with a dynamic team located across Australia. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to data management. You will be responsible for data entry, validation, cleaning, and reporting, ensuring high-quality data outputs that drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into various internal systems and databases.
  • Validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular data cleaning, deduplication, and quality assurance activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of data reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve data collection processes and methodologies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for all data handled.
  • Utilize various online tools and software for data management and analysis.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc data-related tasks and projects as required.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and security principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with CRM systems or database management software.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience in a remote work setting.
