Job Description
Toll Group is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our Byron Bay team as Night Shift Packers. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of goods within our distribution centre. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing various items for dispatch, contributing to the smooth flow of our operations. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced night environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications.
- Verify product counts and ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, where applicable, after training).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 20kg.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a night shift environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or packing role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) is a bonus but not essential.
