Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Milk Run Offsider to join our dynamic team in Dandenong, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, full-time work with early morning shifts. As a Milk Run Offsider, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and distribution network, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our fresh dairy products to various retail and commercial customers across the Melbourne metropolitan area. Your commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service. This role requires punctuality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle physical tasks consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the efficient and safe loading and unloading of dairy products from delivery vehicles.
- Carefully handle and secure goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify the accuracy of product quantities against delivery manifests and communicate discrepancies.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers at each delivery point.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment within the vehicle and at loading docks.
- Strictly adhere to all company policies, including health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Navigate routes alongside the driver, assisting with directions and timely deliveries.
- Perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently throughout shifts.
