Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily ward rounds and contribute to the multidisciplinary team's patient care discussions.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory analyses and imaging studies.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures under appropriate supervision.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in educational activities, including grand rounds, teaching sessions, and clinical audits.
• Adhere to professional ethical standards and patient safety protocols.

Required Skills

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Provisional or full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
