Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Logistics Data Entry Clerk to join our team for afternoon shifts at our Irvine warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring smooth operations within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an on-site position requiring consistent attendance during scheduled afternoon hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter shipping and receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Verify data against physical documents and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate reports related to inventory movement and stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data entry, preferably in a logistics or warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with logistics terminology and procedures.
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification in logistics or business administration.
