Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-time Logistics Clerk to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. This role focuses on accurate data entry and administrative support for our afternoon shift operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of information related to shipments, inventory, and general logistics activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong computer skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for all incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movements, and other logistics documentation.
  • Process and verify paperwork for freight consignments, including manifests, bills of lading, and delivery notes.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure information accuracy.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
  • Generate reports and summaries as required by supervisors.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data entry with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6-12 months) in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment.
