Job Description
Mercure Wangaratta is seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Lobby Greeter to be the first point of contact for our valued guests. In this essential customer service role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing initial assistance, and ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience. You will be the face of our hotel, embodying our commitment to outstanding hospitality and setting the tone for a positive stay. This role requires a genuine passion for people, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome all guests upon their arrival, offering assistance with luggage and directions.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer help, information, or services.
- Direct guests to the reception desk, concierge, or other hotel amenities as required.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation.
- Maintain a pristine and inviting lobby environment.
- Assist with guest inquiries, requests, and minor issues, escalating to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Coordinate with front desk and bell desk teams to ensure seamless guest transitions.
- Offer courteous farewells to departing guests, inviting them to return.
