Job Description

This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the health, safety, and efficient movement of livestock within our facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the humane movement, loading, and unloading of various types of livestock (e.g., cattle, sheep, pigs).
- Monitor animal health and behaviour closely, reporting any signs of illness, injury, or distress to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of pens, yards, and handling equipment according to biosecurity standards.
- Prepare and distribute feed and water for livestock, ensuring adequate supply and proper nutrition.
- Assist with routine animal treatments, vaccinations, and identification tagging under direct supervision.
- Learn to operate and safely maintain basic farm machinery and tools relevant to livestock handling after comprehensive training.
- Adhere strictly to all animal welfare guidelines, biosecurity protocols, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Provide general support to senior handlers and supervisors with daily operational tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
