Job Description
Are you a compassionate and caring individual looking to start a rewarding career in aged care? Anglicare Australia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated In-Home Support Assistants to provide essential care and companionship to elderly clients in their homes across Port Pirie. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you have all the skills and confidence needed to excel in this vital role. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care activities, including showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide support with light household tasks such as meal preparation, tidying, and laundry.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and comfort.
- Support clients with medication reminders as per care plans.
- Facilitate social engagement and community participation.
- Report any changes in client condition or concerns to the care coordinator.
- Adhere to individual care plans and maintain accurate records.
