Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions accurately in our ticketing system.
  • Assist with onboarding new users, including setting up workstations and user accounts.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as directed.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with asset management.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an IT-related diploma or degree program.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience (e.g., retail, hospitality).
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
