Job Description

Join BGC, a leading name in Australian construction, as a Bricklayer’s Labourer in Rockingham, WA. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist bricklayers with laying bricks, blocks, and mortar.
  • Prepare work areas, including setting up scaffolding and mixing mortar.
  • Transport materials (bricks, sand, cement) across the site.
  • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas regularly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Perform general site duties as directed by the supervisor.
  • Ensure all necessary materials are available for bricklayers.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional physical fitness and stamina for demanding manual labour.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Possession of a valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a construction labouring role, particularly on bricklaying projects.
  • Familiarity with various construction tools and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Current driver's license and reliable transport.
