Job Description
Join BGC, a leading name in Australian construction, as a Bricklayer’s Labourer in Rockingham, WA. You will be an integral part of our bricklaying teams, providing essential support to ensure efficiency and quality on site. Key Responsibilities
- Assist bricklayers with laying bricks, blocks, and mortar.
- Prepare work areas, including setting up scaffolding and mixing mortar.
- Transport materials (bricks, sand, cement) across the site.
- Clean tools, equipment, and work areas regularly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform general site duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure all necessary materials are available for bricklayers.
Required Skills
- Exceptional physical fitness and stamina for demanding manual labour.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Possession of a valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction labouring role, particularly on bricklaying projects.
- Familiarity with various construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport.
