Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for retail? Woolworths is seeking a dedicated and motivated Entry Level Grocery Merchandiser to join our team in Byron Bay. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career, as no prior experience is required. You will be responsible for ensuring our stores are well-stocked, visually appealing, and organized, driving sales through effective product presentation. Travel between assigned stores in the Byron Bay region is an essential part of this role, offering a dynamic work environment. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute merchandising plans and planograms accurately to optimize product display.
  • Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and products are correctly priced and rotated.
  • Monitor product freshness, identifying and removing expired or damaged goods.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with store management and staff.
  • Collect and report on merchandising activities, stock levels, and competitor activities.
  • Travel efficiently and safely between various Woolworths locations within the Byron Bay region.
  • Assist with new product launches and promotional setups.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull merchandise (up to 15kg).
