Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable General Labourers to join our team in Stanthorpe. This is an immediate start opportunity for individuals who are physically fit, eager to learn, and committed to safety. You will be instrumental in supporting various civil construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring sites run smoothly and efficiently. No prior experience is necessary; we value a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, and we’re ready to provide the training you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople and machine operators on site.
- Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and clearing debris.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Load and unload materials and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety procedures, site regulations, and company policies diligently.
- Assist with traffic management when required, adhering to protocols.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Possession of a valid Construction Induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain one prior to starting.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Unwavering commitment to workplace safety for self and others.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to commute reliably to various project sites in the Stanthorpe region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction, agricultural, or manual labour role (even basic experience is a plus).
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Experience with basic hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
