Job Description
Kickstart your career in the moving industry with Allied Pickfords as a Furniture Removalist Offsider! This is an outstanding entry-level opportunity for motivated individuals seeking stable employment, comprehensive paid training, and reliable weekly pay. No prior experience is required – we are dedicated to equipping you with all the skills and knowledge needed to excel as a valuable member of our professional removal team. You will work alongside experienced removalists, assisting with the safe and efficient packing, loading, and unloading of furniture and personal belongings for our diverse client base throughout Gosford and the surrounding Central Coast region. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the careful packing and unpacking of household and office goods.
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off removal trucks.
- Secure items within the truck using appropriate packing materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture items as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during removal operations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.

- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., labourer, warehouse worker, delivery driver).
- Current Australian driver's license (manual transmission experience preferred).
- A White Card (Construction Induction Card) is beneficial but not essential.
- Basic understanding of furniture assembly and disassembly.
