Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of the vibrant festival scene this summer? Live Nation Australia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Crew Members for festival set-up in Renmark, SA. This is a casual, temporary role perfect for individuals seeking flexible work during the summer months. You’ll be instrumental in transforming event spaces, ensuring everything is ready for a seamless and memorable festival experience. No prior experience is required – just a willingness to work hard, learn, and be part of a dynamic team!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and distribution of event equipment, including staging, fencing, signage, and furniture.
- Participate in the assembly and dismantling of temporary structures, tents, and other event infrastructure.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines rigorously to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Support site clean-up and waste management efforts before, during, and after events.
- Collaborate effectively with team leaders and other crew members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 20kg).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event set-up, warehousing, or manual labour.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license and own transportation.
- Experience operating basic hand tools.
