Job Description

Are you passionate about digital learning and eager to kick-start your career in instructional design and e-learning development? Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Junior E-learning Developer to join our dynamic Learning & Development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating engaging, interactive, and effective online learning modules for our corporate training programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of e-learning courses and modules using various authoring tools.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to transform raw content into engaging digital learning experiences.
  • Integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, video, and animations into e-learning content.
  • Ensure all e-learning materials are SCORM/xAPI compliant and optimized for various learning platforms (LMS).
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and testing of e-learning courses to ensure functionality, accuracy, and user-friendliness.
  • Maintain and update existing e-learning content as required.
  • Stay updated with the latest e-learning technologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with at least one major e-learning authoring tool (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate).
  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Familiarity with multimedia editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, basic video editing).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration or content uploading.
  • Basic graphic design skills and an eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Portfolio showcasing e-learning projects or multimedia development work.
