Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused E-commerce Chat Specialist to join our fast-growing brand in Gdańsk. This is an immediate start opportunity for an individual eager to jump into the dynamic world of e-commerce customer service. As a Chat Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing real-time support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience through our chat channels. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining high customer satisfaction and contributing to our brand’s reputation for excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, professional, and friendly assistance to customers via live chat, addressing inquiries related to orders, products, shipping, and returns.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, escalating complex problems to the appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on company policies, promotions, and procedures.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and contribute feedback to enhance our service processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team performance targets for response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills in English, with strong grammar and spelling.
  • Proficiency in using chat software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude when interacting with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and technical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an e-commerce or online customer service role.
  • Familiarity with Allegro's platform or similar large e-commerce marketplaces.
  • Additional language skills (e.g., Polish, German, Ukrainian) are a plus.
  • Experience with Zendesk, Intercom, or similar customer support tools.
