Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused E-commerce Chat Specialist to join our fast-growing team in Albury. This is an immediate start opportunity for an individual passionate about providing outstanding online support. You will be the primary point of contact for our online customers, assisting them with product inquiries, order status, technical support, and general assistance via live chat. Your goal will be to ensure a seamless and positive customer journey, embodying our brand’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time support to customers via live chat regarding product information, order tracking, returns, and general inquiries.
- Efficiently resolve customer issues, complaints, and questions with a high degree of empathy and professionalism.
- Assist customers with navigating the JB Hi-Fi website and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our chat support processes and knowledge base.
- Stay up-to-date with new products, promotions, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and CRM software.
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an e-commerce customer service or chat support role.
- Familiarity with consumer electronics and home entertainment products.
- Experience with Zendesk, LiveChat, or similar chat support systems.
- A background in retail customer service.
