Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dispatch Factory Hand to join our dynamic team in Laverton, VIC. This is an immediate start full-time position crucial to our dispatch operations. You will be responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of trucks, preparing orders for dispatch, and maintaining a tidy and safe working environment. If you’re physically fit, have a keen eye for detail, and are ready to jump into a busy role, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring goods are handled safely and securely.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifest or other records.
- Prepare and pack orders for dispatch according to company standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse and dispatch area.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or factory setting.
- Forklift license (LF) or experience operating similar equipment.
- Current driver's license with reliable transport.
