Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwashing Steward to join our dynamic team in Port Pirie. As a Dishwashing Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen and dining areas. Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sanitize all kitchenware, including dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and serving equipment.
- Ensure all cleaned items are stored properly and in an organized manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleanup tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and report low stock to supervisors.
- Assist in waste management and recycling efforts.
