Job Description
We are urgently seeking motivated and reliable Demolition Hands for casual day shifts in the Richmond area and surrounding Melbourne suburbs. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work arrangements and an opportunity to contribute to significant demolition projects. You will be part of a dynamic team, performing essential manual tasks on active construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general demolition tasks as directed by site supervisors.
- Assist with the safe dismantling and removal of structures and materials.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the site team to achieve project goals.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual labor.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all WHS regulations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Hold a valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) for Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in demolition or construction roles is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of demolition tools and equipment.
- Own transport is beneficial but not essential.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
