Job Description
Are you fit, reliable, and looking for a dynamic role where you don’t need a driver’s license? Toll Group is seeking enthusiastic Delivery Driver Offsiders to join our team in Glenelg, South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy physical work. As an Offsider, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our valued customers, working closely with our experienced drivers. No previous experience is required – just a can-do attitude and good physical fitness!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with navigating routes and making deliveries efficiently.
- Safely load and unload a variety of goods from the delivery vehicle.
- Verify product counts and ensure accurate delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle cabin and cargo area.
- Support the driver in all aspects of the delivery process.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail for accurate loading/unloading.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in manual handling or a physically demanding role.
- Familiarity with local Glenelg and wider Adelaide area.
- Basic understanding of logistics or warehousing operations.
- Customer service experience.
