Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Creative Lead to join our Digital Media Studio in Ballarat. This role is crucial for defining and elevating the visual and experiential output of our digital campaigns and products. You will be instrumental in guiding creative projects from concept to execution, ensuring brand consistency, and fostering a culture of design excellence within the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of digital media trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and development of compelling creative strategies for digital campaigns, content, and product features.
- Manage and mentor a team of designers, art directors, and content creators, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality output.
- Oversee the entire creative process, from initial brainstorming and storyboarding to final production and delivery across various digital platforms.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technology teams to ensure creative solutions align with business objectives and technical specifications.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and strong brand presence across all digital touchpoints.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital design and media production.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind design decisions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Creative Lead, Senior Art Director, or similar role within a digital media studio, agency, or in-house creative team.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital creative work, including campaign design, UI/UX, motion graphics, and video.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Figma, Sketch).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, user experience design, and content strategy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid grasp of visual storytelling and brand development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D design software or interactive media.
