Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced concrete patchers in preparing surfaces for repairs.
  • Learn and apply various concrete patching techniques, including mixing materials and applying finishes.
  • Operate and maintain a range of hand tools and small machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and prepare work areas, ensuring a safe and organized site.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies diligently.
  • Support the team with general site duties as required.
  • Transport materials and equipment to and from work areas.

Required Skills

  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Basic communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a labouring or construction role (even minimal experience is a plus).
  • Current 'White Card' (General Construction Induction Training) or willingness to obtain one prior to starting.
  • Current driver's license and reliable transport.
