Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join our dynamic team within a major hospital setting in Lismore. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategic planning and operational management of nursing services within the designated specialty.

Required Skills

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Extensive post-registration clinical experience (minimum 5 years) in a relevant specialty area.
  • Post-graduate qualification in nursing or a related health discipline (e.g., Master of Nursing, Graduate Diploma).
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership, education, and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management principles.
