Job Description

Join Meta as a Casual Work-From-Home Moderator and play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our online platforms. This 100% remote position offers the flexibility to work from your home in Grafton, NSW, while contributing to a global mission. You will be responsible for monitoring user-generated content, identifying and actioning violations of community standards, and ensuring a positive user experience across our diverse range of products. This role requires sharp attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to adapt to evolving content policies and guidelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor user-generated content, including posts, comments, images, and videos, across various Meta platforms.
  • Identify and evaluate content that violates Meta's Community Standards and terms of service.
  • Take appropriate action on violating content, including removal, restriction, or escalation, following established guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in moderation decisions.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback on content policy violations.
  • Stay informed about current events, online trends, and potential risks to user safety.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve content moderation tools and processes.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy protocols.
