Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Casual Warehouse Picker for our day roster at our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Speke, Liverpool. This role involves accurately and efficiently picking customer orders, ensuring products are ready for dispatch. We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using handheld scanners or other equipment.
- Ensure all items are picked and packed in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including pallet jacks or other powered industrial trucks after training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including loading, unloading, and sorting.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving packages up to 15 kg (or as per local regulations).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical role.
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
