Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Paper Mill Labourer to join our established team at our state-of-the-art paper mill in Speke, Liverpool. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a stable career in a large-scale industrial setting with opportunities for growth and development. The successful candidate will perform various manual tasks to support the efficient operation of the paper manufacturing process, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
  • Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., forklift, pallet jack after training).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mill floor and equipment.
  • Monitor production lines for quality control issues and report anomalies.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support skilled operators and technicians as needed.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks and minor repairs as instructed.
  • Participate in regular safety training and meetings.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
