Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Stores Hands to join our Gold Coast team for day shifts. This is an immediate start opportunity for individuals who are physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and are keen to contribute to the smooth operation of our retail environment. As a Casual Stores Hand, you will be integral to ensuring our products are well-stocked, organised, and ready for our customers. This role offers flexible hours, a dynamic team atmosphere, and the chance to work with a leading Australian retailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and organise incoming stock deliveries efficiently.
- Replenish shelves and displays according to planograms and merchandising standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment in the stockroom and sales floor.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys).
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Provide support to other team members as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Immediate availability for day shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stores environment.
- Knowledge of basic inventory procedures.
