Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and have a keen eye for detail? Star Car Wash in Laverton is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Car Detailing Assistant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position, and we provide comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed to become a professional detailer. If you’re eager to learn, hardworking, and ready to contribute to a pristine finish, we want to hear from you! No prior experience is required; just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior car cleaning, including washing, waxing, polishing, and buffing.
- Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and dashboard.
- Apply protective coatings and sealants to vehicle surfaces.
- Operate detailing equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality before handover to customers.
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required by the team lead.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid Australian driver's license.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
