Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst (Junior) to join our IT & Operations team. This on-site role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with foundational business analysis skills to grow within a dynamic environment. You will support the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for business processes and systems, working closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and ensure successful project delivery. This position offers exposure to a wide range of operational and technological challenges within the energy sector, providing a robust platform for career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of process maps, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with IT developers and operational teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support defect management activities.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and user guides.
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting of project progress and issues.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to analyze and document business processes and requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and software development lifecycles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of the energy or utilities industry.
