Job Description
Join Tasmanian Climate Solutions for an exciting summer season as an Air Con Labourer! We’re seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to support our experienced HVAC technicians with various tasks. This role offers high pay for seasonal work, providing essential assistance during our busiest period. If you’re physically fit, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Perform general labouring duties, including site preparation, cleaning, and waste removal.
- Help with the assembly and dismantling of HVAC units and components.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations on site.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Provide general support to the team as required.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction role.
- Current Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Enthusiasm for learning about the HVAC industry.
