Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all training programs and mentorship opportunities.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) and mobility.
  • Support residents with meal times, ensuring a pleasant and safe dining experience.
  • Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to senior staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, families, and team members.
  • Contribute to care planning under supervision, learning to tailor support to individual needs.

  • Ability to pass a police check and provide immunisation records as per industry requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or care-related role (volunteer or paid) is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Enrolment or interest in Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community Care).
