Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive WFH Stock Control Administrator with a strong focus on warehouse systems to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of stock control principles and be proficient in using various warehouse software. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic global logistics company from anywhere within Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records across various warehouse locations using the designated Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Process inbound and outbound stock movements, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and promptly.
- Perform regular stock reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Generate comprehensive inventory reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to optimize stock placement and improve efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stock-outs, initiating replenishment orders as required.
- Assist in the development and improvement of stock control procedures and system functionalities.
- Provide system support and training to other team members on WMS functionalities when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and industry regulations pertaining to stock management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle WMS, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Previous experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Familiarity with lean inventory principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
