Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Janitorial Assistant to join our team for morning shifts. This is a full-time, regular position crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities in Dandenong. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and cleaning windows and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with specific cleaning projects as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weight.
