Job Description
Join our team as a Trolley Collection Crew member and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised shopping environment for our customers. This physical role involves collecting trolleys from designated areas within our shopping centres, returning them to collection bays, and ensuring they are ready for customer use. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently collect and retrieve shopping trolleys from various points across the shopping centre car park and surrounding areas.
- Safely transport trolleys back to designated collection bays and store entry points.
- Ensure trolleys are clean, free from rubbish, and in good working order.
- Maintain clear and safe pathways for customers and vehicles in the car park.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including manual handling techniques.
- Assist with minor car park maintenance tasks as required.
- Provide friendly assistance to customers when needed, directing them or answering basic queries.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar outdoor or physically demanding role.
- Awareness of basic car park safety.
- Current driver's license (desirable, but not essential for all roles).
