Job Description

Accenture is seeking a highly meticulous and analytical Virtual Quality Assurance Auditor with a strong focus on data integrity. This 100% remote position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of our data assets and processes. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive audits, identifying data quality issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive quality audits on large and complex data sets, databases, and data processing workflows to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify, document, and report data quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies with precise detail.
  • Verify compliance with established data governance policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Develop and implement robust audit plans, procedures, and checklists specifically tailored for data-focused quality assurance.
  • Collaborate effectively with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to gain a deep understanding of data sources, transformations, and system architectures.
  • Propose and track corrective actions for identified data quality deficiencies, driving timely and effective resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality frameworks, auditing methodologies, and best practices.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all audit processes, findings, and resolutions.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis and validation techniques.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with SQL for database querying.
  • Demonstrated experience with data quality tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) or Data Management.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis software or libraries (e.g., R, Python with Pandas).
  • Prior experience in a virtual or remote auditing role.
