Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Parcel Processors to join our team for the upcoming peak season in Devonport. This is a temporary role offering weekly pay, perfect for individuals looking for consistent work during a busy period. As a Parcel Processor, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for the efficient sorting, scanning, and movement of parcels to ensure they reach their destinations on time. This fast-paced environment requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and scan incoming and outgoing parcels based on destination and service type.
- Load and unload parcels from trucks and conveyor belts safely and without damage.
- Manually lift and move packages of varying weights and sizes, adhering to lifting guidelines.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring a safe environment for all team members.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and operational protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily processing targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25kg regularly.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding role.
- Experience with parcel scanning technology.
- Current driver's license.
