Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented UX Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting clear, concise, and engaging copy that guides users through our various software products and digital platforms. You will work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to define product language, develop content strategies, and ensure a consistent brand voice across all touchpoints. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the user experience of innovative digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, concise, and compelling UX copy for interfaces, notifications, error messages, onboarding flows, and other product touchpoints.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to define and implement content strategy and terminology.
- Develop and maintain content style guides, glossaries, and best practices for product language.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform content decisions and evaluate effectiveness of copy.
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and terminology across multiple product lines and platforms.
- Advocate for the user in all aspects of product development, ensuring accessibility and clarity.
- Participate in design sprints, content reviews, and cross-functional team meetings.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a UX Writer, Content Strategist, or similar role, preferably in a creative agency or software product environment.
- Demonstrable portfolio of UX writing samples.
- Proficiency in crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for digital products.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Native-level proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and internationalization best practices.
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
