Job Description
Are you bursting with energy and a passion for healthy living? Boost Juice in Glenelg is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Juice Bar Assistant to join our fun-loving team! In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, crafting delicious beverages, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive and energetic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of fresh juices, smoothies, and other menu items according to Boost Juice recipes and quality standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.
- Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organised counter area.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking ingredients and supplies.
- Clean and sanitise equipment, blenders, and work areas regularly.
- Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve minor issues professionally and courteously.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Positive attitude and a passion for healthy food and beverages.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cafe, fast-food, or hospitality setting (e.g., barista, food service).
- Current Food Handler's Certificate.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
