Job Description
As a Counter Server at McDonald’s, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing friendly and efficient service to our valued customers. You will be responsible for taking orders accurately, processing payments, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, teamwork, and adherence to food safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Process cash and card payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Prepare and package food and drink orders according to McDonald's standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the counter area, dining space, and restrooms.
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and cash handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus.
- Current Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
