Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Incident Response Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Busan. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the detection, analysis, and containment of security incidents within our extensive transport and logistics infrastructure. This position demands a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to minimize disruption and protect our assets. You will be a vital link between various departments, external partners, and security teams, ensuring swift and effective resolution of all incidents. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate incident response activities from initial detection through resolution, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Categorize, prioritize, and escalate incidents based on severity and potential impact to transport operations and data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, legal, and external stakeholders to gather information, implement containment strategies, and facilitate recovery.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, procedures, and documentation, ensuring they are current and effective.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventative measures.
- Provide regular updates and reports on incident status, trends, and mitigation efforts to senior management.
- Participate in on-call rotation and be available for critical incident response outside of standard business hours.
- Facilitate training and awareness programs for employees on security best practices and incident reporting.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response or a related field.
- Proven experience with incident management frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures relevant to transport or industrial control systems (ICS/OT).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make rapid, informed decisions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams during crisis situations.
- Proficiency in Korean language is highly beneficial for local communication and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., GIAC GCIH, CompTIA Security+, CEH).
- Experience in the logistics, shipping, automotive, or critical infrastructure industries.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and incident response in hybrid environments.
- Understanding of Korean regulatory compliance and data protection laws.
