Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Systems Data Auditor to join our team in Busan. In this ongoing role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest level of information accuracy across our complex data systems. Your primary responsibility will be to audit data processes, identify discrepancies, recommend improvements, and uphold data integrity standards critical to our operational success and compliance. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset to safeguard the reliability of our vast datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of data systems and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and document data quality issues and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and various business units to investigate root causes of data inaccuracies and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain audit trails, documentation, and reports on data integrity status.
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of data governance best practices and data quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor data accuracy metrics and report on performance to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of internal controls related to data management.
- Provide training and guidance to data owners and users on data accuracy protocols.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data auditing and governance.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data auditing, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of database systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends or anomalies.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles and data quality frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Fluency in English and Korean.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and industrial control systems data.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods for data quality assessment.
