Job Description
Are you eager to kickstart a hands-on career and learn valuable trades? Spotless Group is seeking a motivated Handyman’s Helper to join our dynamic team in Newcastle, NSW. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience who are keen to develop practical skills across various areas of property maintenance and repair. You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with a wide range of tasks and gaining invaluable on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced handymen and tradespeople with various tasks across different sites.
- Learn to use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance duties as instructed, including minor painting, patching, and cleaning.
- Help with site preparation and cleanup, ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Eagerness and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic manual dexterity and physical fitness to handle tools and lift materials.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian driver's license (Learner or Provisional acceptable).
- Basic understanding of common hand tools and their uses.
- Previous experience in a physical role or labouring (not essential but a plus).
- Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain one).
