Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cafe All-Rounder to join our friendly team at Pret A Manger in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. This casual part-time role offers consistent day shifts from Monday to Wednesday, perfect for someone looking for flexible yet stable work. As a Cafe All-Rounder, you will be the heart of our operations, ensuring every customer has a delightful experience. You will be involved in various aspects of cafe work, from food preparation and serving to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including coffee, sandwiches, and salads, following Pret A Manger standards.
- Operate the till and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with their orders and inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and tidy cafe environment, including dining areas, service counters, and restrooms.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring freshness and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Stock shelves and display cases, rotating products to ensure freshness.
- Handle deliveries and manage inventory as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient cafe operations.
