Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic WFH Cloud Support Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for providing front-line technical support to our clients, ensuring their cloud-based systems (primarily AWS and Azure) operate smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, guiding users through solutions, and contributing to the overall success of our cloud service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to clients for AWS and Azure cloud services via various channels (email, chat, phone).
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security alerts.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and follow up on resolution.
- Document support interactions, solutions, and knowledge base articles.
- Assist clients with service requests, configurations, and general inquiries.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest AWS and Azure features and best practices.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
- Foundational understanding of cloud concepts and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Basic knowledge of AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC) and/or Azure core services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals certification.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management best practices.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
