Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically fit Heavy Lift Labourers to join our ongoing projects in Liverpool. As a Heavy Lift Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and placement of heavy materials and equipment on construction sites, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move heavy materials, equipment, and components using appropriate lifting techniques and tools.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory and secure storage.
- Operate various hand and power tools as required for specific tasks.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to prevent hazards.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks requiring heavy lifting or manual support.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, and carrying.
- Strong understanding and commitment to site safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of construction site operations.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- Previous experience in a construction or heavy industrial environment.
- Familiarity with various lifting equipment (e.g., slings, chains, hoists).
- First Aid certification.
