Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and helping others explore the world? Expedia Group is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Travel & Tourism Support Agent. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to memorable travel experiences for our customers worldwide. As a Travel & Tourism Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for travelers, providing exceptional customer service and support for all aspects of their journey. Your primary goal will be to resolve inquiries, assist with bookings, manage changes, and ensure a seamless travel experience, all while working remotely with a supportive team and enjoying bonus incentives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding bookings, changes, cancellations, and general travel information.
  • Providing accurate and timely information on travel products and services, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and package deals.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex problems when necessary.
  • Assisting customers with navigating our platforms and utilizing self-service tools.
  • Documenting all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, company policies, and product offerings.
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics, including customer satisfaction and resolution times.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A passion for travel and customer service
  • Proficiency in using computers and navigating multiple software applications simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with GDS (Global Distribution Systems) or other travel booking platforms
  • Multilingual capabilities (e.g., Mandarin, French, Spanish)
  • A relevant diploma or certification in travel, tourism, or hospitality
